Begin your evening being led by your cloaked guide into the infamous Underground Vaults and hear chilling tales of Edinburgh’s dark and mysterious past. Once led from the grim and gloomy Vaults through our secret, hidden corridor, you will be greeted with warm mulled wine and an equally warm welcome from your amiable host Ebenezer Munro.
In our cozy, candle-lit exclusive private dining venue, tucked beneath the arches of the South Bridge, you will be enchanted with the magical atmosphere of the season. Performed in four sections to fit between the courses of your meal, your host will keep your audience engaged and enthralled. Over a sumptuous Christmas feast, offered by our award-winning chef, hear about mince pies and why they were banned; where the idea of Christmas trees came from and how spiders helped us decorate them!
The evening doesn’t end there, as you are then invited to kick your heels up in a good auld Christmas ceilidh!
